In the Eagles vs Seahawks injury reports and inactives for the Week 15 MNF game between Philadelphia and Seattle, there are developments involving both team’s QB1.
For the Eagles Jalen Hurts is dealing with an illness and is listed as questionable. It’s still not been determined whether he’ll be playing.
On the Seattle side, the news is also concerning. There were expectations that QB1 Geno Smith would be returning under center. He was missing from last week’s loss to San Francisco due to a groin injury. But now it’s appearing as if Drew Lock will be starting a second straight game at QB for the Seahawks.

Three Starters Already Out for Eagles
Hurts was unable to practice Saturday. Reportedly, his condition worsened between Saturday and Sunday. The decision was made by the Eagles to have their QB1 travel separately to Seattle for the MNF game.

There’s also concern in the Seattle secondary, where two starters are ailing. Neither LCB Devon Witherspoon (back) or SS Jamal Adams (knee) were able to practice at all this week.

How Could Injuries Affect Eagles vs Seahawks Betting Lines?
If it turns out that Hurts can’t answer the bell, the Eagles are a rarity among NFL teams in that they can turn to a very experienced backup. Veteran Marcus Mariota, who started 13 games last season for the Atlanta Falcons, would step in to fill the void.
Slay’s absence is certainly a concern facing the dynamic Seattle WR trio of DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. It’s possible that a number of players will see action on the right corner in the Philadelphia secondary in trying to plug the gap.
