Bengals' Joe Burrow is intent on chasing Aaron Rodgers

The Bengals Joe Burrow knows a thing or two about being a QB, but he’s intent on improving which is why he’s chosen to emulate the Packers’ Aaron Rodgers.

When it comes to top quality quarterbacks, it would appear that Joe Burrow knows his stuff. The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback has set his sights firmly on Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers and intends – in time – to surpass him. Rodgers of course, was the recipient of his fourth NFL Most Valuable Player award on Thursday, it was his second in as many seasons. “I’m chasing Aaron Rodgers to try to be the best,” Burrow said during the final day of Super Bowl media interviews. “He’s been doing it for a long time.”

Burrow did go on to mention two other notable QBs as he sat in the bleachers of UCLA’s Drake Stadium. Recently retired QB and candidate for the ‘Greatest Of All Time’ title, Tom Brady was mentioned alongside the Kansas city Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes. In case you didn’t know, Burrow’s and his Bengals got the better of Mahomes and the Chiefs on two occasions this season. The most recent of those victories came on January 30th, when they clinched the AFC Championship and with it a spot in the Super Bowl.
