Liga MX are set to announce the dates and times of the matches that will reactivate the Apertura 2023 tournament after the participation of Mexican clubs in the Leagues Cup.

With Monterrey and Querétaro as the two only survivors in the quarterfinals, everything points to the Apertura campaign getting a green light for a Friday, 18 August restart.
