The injury reports and inactives for the NFL Week 11 MNF game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs aren’t showing much in the way of ailments. However, it’s the visiting Eagles that are displaying the most concerning news.

Philadelphia has confirmed the both TE Dallas Goedert (forearm) and DE Derek Barnett (personal reasons) will be out for this rematch of last season’s Super Bowl game. Meanwhile, the Chiefs are reporting no injuries among their starters.

Kansas City is a 2.5-point home favorite in the Eagles vs Chiefs odds. Kickoff for this game is set for 8:15pm ET at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. The broadcast is being carried by ABC/ESPN and by DAZN in Canada.

Eagles Missing Key Players

Goedert left Philadelphia’s last game, a 28-23 win over the Dallas Cowboys, due to a fractured right forearm.  Even with the benefit of a bye week last week, there was still no chance that he’d be healed enough to play in this game.

Barnett was a healthy scratch for the Week 9 win over Dallas and will again be out due to personal reasons. He’s being forced into a lesser role in part to make room for 2023 first-round pick Nolan Smith.

This week, LB Nakobe Dean (foot) was placed on IR by the Eagles. Philadelphia was hoping to activate safety Justin Evans (knee) from IR in time for this game, but that option has been ruled out.

Chiefs Relatively Healthy For This Late In Season

Going into this matchup between the teams with the top records in the NFL (Philadelphia) and AFC (Kansas City), the Chiefs aren’t showing a single injury designation among their starters.

Looking at the Eagles vs Chiefs prediction, there are some depth injuries at wide receiver, where Justyn Ross is on the commissioner’s exempt list and Richie James (knee) is listed as questionable. James was just activated from IR this week.

The Eagles aren’t placing Goedert on IR. Head coach Nick Sirianni is hopeful that Goedert won’t be out for four full games, the minimum time that must be spent on IR.

In the meantime, the Eagles will deploy a TE by committee game plan, dividing time among Jack Stoll, Grant Calcaterra and Albert Okwuegbunam.
