Braves on the cusp

The 17 time NL Pennant winners last won the World Series in 1995 and this was added to their collection of victories with the previous two wins coming back in 1957 when they were known as the Milwaukee Braves and before that in 1914 when the franchise was based in Boston.

The lead the Dodgers (and current MLB champions) 3-1 as they head to Game 5 in Los Angeles and will be motivated by their comprehensive 9-2 win in Game 4. The last time the Braves made it to the final (1999) they fell short losing to the NY Yankees.
